CEMENT BOND LOG
Ascertains cement integrity behind steel casing or the presence of cement behind PVC. Using acoustic waves to measure Travel Time and Amplitude while deriving Attenuation and Bond Index. Determine “free pipe,” channeling, and casing/formation bond to determine hydraulic isolation between formations. Bond Log requires mud or water-filled casing. It can be conducted in casing diameters ranging from 4-inch to 16-inch.
